How to Make the most of your Membership

Working alone in your business, as a sole trader or start up can be a lonely world; make the most of our group by connecting with others in your area. Whether that’s just meeting for a coffee and chat, or to join up on jobs, shadow for experience etc. Connecting with fellow members is what makes our network succeed.

From time to time you may get enquiries for work outside your area, don’t just disregard it, sub it out, or pass it on. Use our directory to find a suitable member.

If you’re not on the directory you are missing out; no one will ever find you! You may miss out on work. In 2025 we had over 1200 searches on the directory.

Every September we have a members meet up event; make sure you attend. Meeting up face to face is a great way to get to know each other, and it’s a unique opportunity to form relationships.

The event usually includes training sessions from industry leaders.

We also have other events running at other times throughout the year; make sure you are on our Facebook group for updates.

Let potential customers know that you are a member of PATTA, by sharing the logo on your marketing materials, you are showing that you work to expected standards.
